Celebrated poet Sydney Lea will visit us September 19 to read from his latest collection of poems, What Shines. A former Vermont Poet Laureate and winner of the Governor's Award for Excellence in the Arts (2021), Lea is the author of more than a dozen published books, which include poetry, novels, essays, and a graphic novel. He is also the co-editor of Roads Taken: Contemporary Vermont Poetry, on which he collaborated with fellow Vermont poet laureate Chard diNiord.
